  • Firm represented a Court Appointed fiduciary in commercial litigation against over 87 defendants seeking recovery of commissions paid to insurance agents who sold fraudulent Charitable Gift Annuities in a Ponzi Scheme. After conducting a Federal civil jury trial, the jury returned its verdicts with damages for the client on his claims of federal securities fraud, constructive fraud, negligence per se, Arizona securities fraud, unjust enrichment and actual and/or constructive fraudulent transfers under the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act. Jury verdicts upheld on appeal to 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
  • Firm served as outside general counsel to a technology company providing advice and counsel on all legal matters including negotiation of contracts with prospective customers. When the client was targeted for acquisition by a publicly traded company, the Firm assisted the client and its executives by organizing and managing a team of professionals to evaluate and then facilitate the sale of the company.
  • Firm represented non-profit performing arts organizations in commercial litigation arising out of alleged malpractice relating to the procurement of commercial liability insurance and denial of business interruption, insurance coverage due to COVID-19 pandemic. Firm’s representation resulting in confidential settlement for client.
